[This was originally started just before the trial started but because of problems and other work, this has taken a back seat and it was finished well after the trial ended – definitely, not my intention. I wanted to release this during the trial because it would just prove my point]
Probably a sensitive and controversial GraveTalk [as always] this time because “you’re not supposed to talk about ongoing live trials” but in light of the Ava White murder I think this one very much needs to be said. I won’t have to worry because no one will read it, so it won’t interfere with the trial).
Let’s begin, first, with the anonymity of the little murderous shit! Now, the victim in this case is under 18 (under 13) and yet was publicly named along with her family. Now, the victim gets anonymity? So, it’s okay for the victim’s family to suffer abuse or worse but the bastards that have purposely murdered someone (yes that is correct, and we will be touching on this later) has his identity hidden for protection? He doesn’t deserve protection. He has killed an innocent person and deserves to be locked away for life (except this is the UK so it will be more like a few days) or to get his head kicked in (or both!).
This law needs changing as the victim’s family (not being specific here) have gone through so much and to have their identities publicly revealed while the little gits that have done the “crime” remain anonymous is just wrong. If anything, the opposite should be the case. If they are old enough to do the crime, they are old enough to accept the consequences that come with it.
What really irritated me about this is how “that” blatantly lied to police about his whereabouts that night and about the knife. He was cocky and blasé about it until he was alone being questioned and he broke down in tears – sorry those are clearly crocodile tears, unless he realises that his lies have caught up with him. I don’t even know why that deserves a solicitor and why any solicitor would attempt to defend a clear-cut murderer? Forget that it’s the law and everyone deserves a fair trial (And this isn’t just aimed at the UK but society in general) because there are some cases and individuals who are clear-cut guilty! Would Hitler be given the right to defend himself if he was put on trial today or would he just be shot? Imagine the solicitor trying to put together a case to defend Hitler! This is just a load of crap and a complete waste of time and money. This shit, outright, killed a twelve-year-old girl – as well as casually lying about it – and he has the right to a defence? What a frigging joke!
Now, let’s move on to the point I very briefly touched on before and that his how he went out purposely to murder someone. Don’t start talking about how it was just an argue that led to an unfortunate accident because he had a knife on him! And if it was just an accident, why did he run off – like a coward and not stay to help? Why did he have knife on him? What, to cut up his Happy Meal chicken nuggets? Don’t give me that self-defence bullshit! He left his house that day with a knife with the intention of using on someone. Okay, maybe he didn’t intend to kill anyone, but he was going to use it on someone that day and that’s the sad thing. If it wasn’t her, who died, it would have been someone else.
Talking about that “argument” what is a “14 year-old” (His age is brackets because he’s clearly mentally-challenged. No normal 14 year-old would do that!) doing trying to film a 12 year-old and why would a “14 year-old” want to argue with a 12 year-old girl? Is he too weak to take on people his size or bigger? No, he knew exactly was he was doing and you’re not going to stab a 12 year-old in the neck in self-defence – are you? That was a cold-blooded murder and having a trial just glorifies the little coward – and it lasted 12 days! Despite the clear, obvious decision, it still took the jury 8 minutes to decide on a guilt verdict. Are these people okay in the head? 8 minutes – seriously? Get a fucking grip, people!
Moving on to the sentencing. He was given a life sentence but because of his age, he’s got a minimum of 13 years. Why? That’s complete injustice. Like I’ve already said, if he’s old enough to commit the crime then he’s old enough to accept the consequences of his actions and if that means spending the rest of his life in prison then so be it! He took a life, so his life should be lost too! However, personally, because it the taxpayer is paying for his “new-life” (which will be filled with luxuries because the UK prison system!) I would just throw him against a wall and shoot him – one less arsehole in the world!
Let’s be honest; how much, realistically, of his sentence will he serve? Minimum of 13 years? Sometimes the “minimum” term is reduced but not often so he probably will likely serve the 13 years. The parole board should not allow him to be released after these 13 years and should continue his term for the rest of his life. They can say he is no danger, but he always will be. Nothing will change. People like him are examples of how soft our system is. He had committed sexual assaults and even stints in prison before. Look how that changed him. He deserves to rot and, this may sound bad, maybe on of the other inmates will beat the crap out of him (possible rid him from this world altogether! – Hopes and dreams!). At least Ava White’s family can take some thought that they got some justice with the sentence rather than see him walk away with a slapped wrist. The sentence may be joke but it was a prison sentence for what’s it worth.
Don’t get me wrong, this GraveTalk is not about tougher sentences for everyone. There are stupid, little crimes that lead to tougher sentences than what murderers get. Those crimes need to be reformed too! There are people in prison who aren’t evil, cowardly bastards but maybe caused an accident, do genuinely feel remorse but serve ridiculously long sentences. Psychology seems to be a popular subject amongst students but what good is it when they can’t differ between reasonable individuals and the outright evil dickheads? They are supposed to be able to study people’s mental and physical behaviour, but they need more practice as they seem to conclude the wrong the diagnosis.
The whole world is messed up and someone needs to stand up, take some responsibility and to sort it out!
I am sorry for the parents and family of Ava White for what they have had to endure of the past year and with the trial. They have just lost a daughter and have seen her murderer, practically, laugh in their faces. The healing process will take years but hopefully they can keep her alive with the happy memories and not dwell on pain of that fateful night. I also hope other victims receive the right form justice instead of some farce of a verdict.
Well, that’s it. Another GraveTalk. Hopefully, there were some considerable, thoughtful points in there. It wasn’t a nice one to do but it was one that was needed. The next few GraveTalk’s will be lighter with one being another repetitive “Environment” post.
